As indicated by the photos associated with Horomayri, the name actually refers to two different sites -- Lower Horomayri, which is an ancient church, and Upper Horomayri, which is more modern. The two are separated by a cliff, so it is impossible to get from one to the other directly. A trail to Lower Horomayri leads from Aygehat down the cliff and north parallel to the river. Upper Horomayri is accessed via the road between Aygehat and Odzun. Lower Horomayri is not in itself a particularly impressive church. It consists of two main structures, largely overgrown with weeds, and some caves. What is impressive is the view from the trail. But be advised: the trail is a narrow path tucked in the middle of a cliff, and looking up or down will summon vertigo among some visitors.
